Electronic Design Engineer
Role
The Design and Development of Electronic Systems for LED Lighting
Responsibilities
- Electronic Design, covering but not limited to;
- Circuit Design and Schematic Layout
- PCB Design (Altium Designer)
- Design For Manufacture
- Microcontroller Firmware
- Component Selection and Bill of Materials
- Prototype Manufacture and Development
- Solidworks 3D Modelling (training can be provided)
- Production Assembly Drawings
- Design to meet Legislative and Technical Requirements, ensuring designs meet the required specifications (i.e. LVD, EMC)
- Liaison with other members of the department
- Interfacing with other company departments as required
Qualifications
HND/Degree Qualified
KPMs
- PDA (Product Development Assessment) close-out
- On-time, on-budget completion of projects
- Support of existing product range
- Maintain documentation system
Working Hours
8am to 4.30pm Monday – Thursday with ½ hour lunch, 8am to 1pm Friday
Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
