What do you do at MARL?

I create and update bills of materials on the system, write instructions to ensure that products are built correctly, cost items for Sales, find alternative parts and components and support Sales on new enquiries.

How long have you worked at MARL?

20 years.

 

What’s your specialty?

My specialty is being able to provide technical support to the Sales team to enable them to sell bespoke products and applications.

 

What’s the best thing about working at MARL?

The variety in each day. No two days are the same and I am lucky to work with some amazing people.

 

Outside of work, what do you do for fun?

I enjoy walking my beautiful dog, spending time with my family, going to the theatre, and I love a good spa day!

 

What’s your favourite song?

Dancing Queen, ABBA.

 

What’s your favourite TV Show or movie?

Hocus Pocus.

 

What’s a little known secret you’re willing to reveal?

I would love to hear Josh Groban sing at The Royal Albert Hall.

 

Random MARL fact

One of the first discoveries relating to solid state light was made by an Englishman, Henry Round, of Marconi Labs in 1907, (no relation to MARL’s Graham Round!)
