Colours in Nature - Winter in Cumbria

Did everyone manage to safely enjoy the January snow?
 

A friend of the team sent in this lovely image of nearby Grizedale Forest covered in heavy snow.

From the bright blue sky to the snow covered ground and trees, this image perfectly sums up a snowy Cumbrian January! In a few months time when spring, or even summer, arrives this view and landscape will look very different having been transformed by the colours of the new season.
