Maritime Medical Area Lighting
Part of our modular Maritime Lighting range, the Medical Area Lighting unit is designed to operate in both a normal illumination mode and a special medical mode.
In normal operation a standard warm white output is used, maintaining a calming environment that is easy on the eyes. When switched to medical mode, high CRI (Colour Rendering Index) is used enabling a pure white that shows up colours such as red with greater accuracy. The higher colour accuracy makes it easier to, for example, spot health issues through changes in skin complexion.
As with all the Maritime Lighting range, a modular design is used for ease of maintenance.
The flush mounted unit operates at 23W and is shock tested to UK MOD Standards.
