MARL 508 Series – a tough indicator with optional EMC mesh
Part of a wide range of robust, sealed panel status indicators, the 508 Series is an 8.1mm mounting, nickel plated brass indicator with a smoked lens and optional EMC mesh.
Brass is used in the construction of this indicator as a very tough metal with the highest durability, ideal for industrial and harsh conditions.
The combination of IP67 sealing and internal potting give maximum protection from water or dust ingress, with the potting also providing additional vibration protection to the vibration resistant solid-state circuitry.
The use of a smoked lens provides a clear on/off contrast ratio to reduce any ambiguity when glancing at the indicator.
A 508 EMC Series is available, which adds an EMC mesh under the lens for applications that need protection against EMI/RFI. A range of colours and voltages are also available, with a reverse protection diode and internal resistor fitted as standard to all Constant Voltage versions.
