Reflecting on our collaboration with Samuel Heath 

The client

Samuel Heath is a Birmingham based designer and manufacturer of luxury bathroom accessories.

The company, who’s Design showroom is based in London’s Chelsea Harbour, is known for its quality craftmanship and luxury, contemporary looks.

Long-lasting and timeless, its products have stood the test of time. The company is still successful  200 years after it was founded.

The brief

Samuel Heath approached MARL to create a vibrant circular light to fit around a new iteration of its popular shaving mirror.

While Samuel Heath has expertise in product design, the company wanted the benefit of an electronics and lighting expert who could match their passion for durable and reliable products.

The project

MARL created a circular printed circuit board to fit comfortably within the mirror's pre-designed lighting moulds and recesses, utilizing 48 high power LEDs the mirror houses both the board and the driver before it is sealed to give it full IP protection.

The result
 

The LED shaving mirror is now a staple of Samuel Heath's popular product portfolio. Combining both companies expertise, it is a premium, reliable and stylish mirror that looks perfectly at home in a variety of styles and spaces. The client was very happy with the end-product, and we continue to work with them to fulfil order requests.
