The Versatile 084 Series Bulkhead
Known largely for its Network Rail approved red variant positioned at buffer stops in some of the biggest and busiest stations in the UK, the 084 Series bulkhead is more versatile than you might imagine; coming in a range of colours and voltages, it’s suitable for all kinds of applications.
Robust, IP65 vandal-resistant housing makes it suitable for outdoor use and harsh environments such as construction sites where it’s often used for perimeter lighting.
Red and green variants are ideal for status indication applications such as stop/go signalling for restricted entrances at film studios, busy shops, consultation rooms etc; and have been recently designed into a new film studio build. The blue version is great for theatre back stage lighting and white is good for general illumination.
We’re even prototyping a purple version! We think it could be used more decoratively, for example in bars and nightclubs. Interested? Let us know!

Thanks to the long-lasting nature of the LEDs used in the 084 Series, they are good for up to 100,000 hours of operation, enabling them to be removed from an application when no longer needed and reused somewhere else several times in their expected lifetime – for example if a construction site is completed, they can be moved to the next project, reducing costs.
